Anti-Virus-AVG (anti virus program from Gristoft)has won
many awards and is a great anti virus program. We at Shop With a Mom use
it for all the computers we have! Better than Norton; Better that
McAfee! And it is 100% FREE! They also have a low-cost premium version.

SE-Another free award winning software from Lavasoft.
Don't let other people spy on you when you surf the net! Cuts down on
pop ups and keeps your surfing habits private! Some adware and spyware
can be dangerous to your system! Protect it with the amazing FREE

Serifis giving away some very
nice programs! They have software for photos/imaging, drawing, web design
and more! We have personally tried several of these and while they are not
as good as the high-dollar software out there, they are extremely easy to
use and very feature rich! If you are looking for simple to use software
with lots of features then you should check them out! They are from Serif
which is a trusted software source and we have not found them to be harmful
on our own systems!
KompoZer-Free
HTML Editor & WYSIWYG Web Page Creator. I haven't used this, but if
someone does use it I would love to get some feedback on it! It looks
simple enough to use!
Primo PDFis a great FREE pdf maker! If you need to convert ANYTHING to .pdf
so that it cannot be altered and can be read by Adobe Reader, then you
should check it out. It installs into your printer folder and to do the
conversion simply use your "Print" command in your document and choose
Primo PDF instead of your regular printer! This is a GREAT FREE program!
